What’s this all about?
Rally Dixie 2012 is a rally organized by Rally North America. It includes eighty plus cars searching for secret check points at incredible places raising money and awareness for the Accelerated Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating advances towards a cure for multiple sclerosis (MS).
Established in the winter of 2009, Rally North America Charities is a not-for-profit organization, aimed at bringing automotive enthusiasts together from all over the United States and Canada for a special cause. Rally North America believes that by combining the love of the automotive lifestyle and a worthy charity organization, it is possible to do something “good” through the automotive hobby.
Who’s doing it?
Rally Dixie 2012 features 80 teams of two or more people coming from 28 states as well as a few from Canada. Team Tallahassee, brothers Greg (aka Ramzilla) and Chris (aka Criminole), will be driving the 2010 Mustang GT shown below.
Where will be going?
Rally Dixie 2012 will travel from Noblesville, Indiana to Fort Walton Beach, Florida, along the way driving 1300 miles of the most scenic roads in the country. The Rally will stop at three racing venues, (Indianapolis Speedrome in Indianapolis, Indiana, Clarksville Drag & Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee and Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama) and finish at the Ramada Beach Resort in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
